Newport News incident report, Feb. 19

The Newport News Police Department reported the following incidents Feb. 19:

Richard A. Hess, 42, was arrested on charges of intentional or unlawful damage done to a monument at 10:07 p.m. on 26th Street.

Kwaume L. Edwards, 23, was arrested on charges of assault at 7:43 p.m. on 26th Street.

Keith Derrick L., 47, was arrested on charges of failure to comply with a court order at 1:49 a.m. on 26th Street.

Robert W. Herndon, 52, was arrested on charges of possession or use of drugs at 9:46 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Duchane J. Heard, 39, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 10:47 a.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Maleek A. Wells, 18, was arrested on charges of Remove at 12:40 p.m. on 26th Street.

William F. Boyce, 52, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court for a felony offense at 12:32 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Antonio R. Herring, 20, was arrested on charges of contempt of court at 1:47 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

TraMaine R. Evans, 24, was arrested on charges of attempted pick pocketing of value not in excess of $5 at 2:37 p.m. on Warwick Boulevard.

Thomas B. Thomas, 23, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in court for a misdemeanor offense at 3:25 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Robert L. Pratt, 44, was arrested on charges of pick pocketing of an animal at 3:45 p.m. on 26th Street.

Rudy G. Withers, 26, was arrested on charges of violation of an order of protection at 6:51 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Shakera S. Greene, 29, was arrested on charges of misdemeanor violation of probation at 7:34 p.m. on 26th Street.

Clairresa L. Cook, 20, was arrested on charges of failure to appear in traffic court at 7:47 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue.

Richard E. Stacy, 43, was arrested on charges of assault at 8 p.m. on Creekstone Drive.

Dekota L. Williams, 26, was arrested on charges of felony violation of probation at 8:30 p.m. on 26th Street.
