Windsor High School grad St. Peter completes U.S. Army basic infantry training

Benjamin J. St. Peter, of Windsor, recently completed basic infantry training at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga.

According to a Defense Media Activity release, "During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman."

With the completion of basic infantry training, Peter has attained the rank of army private.

Peter is a graduate of Windsor High School and the son of Karin St. Peter.
