Heritage grad Phelps plays in Randolph-Macon loss

Heritage High School graduate Christina Phelps played for Randolph-Macon College in a 100-82 loss at home to  conference rival Roanoke College on Saturday, Feb. 2 in Ashland, Va., the team's website reported.

Phelps and the Yellow Jackets are 5-16 on the season and 4-8 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Randolph-Macon's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5 at East. Mennonite.

Phelps is a junior forward and guard for Randolph-Macon College. She is a 2010 graduate of Heritage High School in Lynchburg, where she was Named Play it Smart Student Athlete of the Month and made the Seminole District All-Academic Team. Phelps is from Lynchburg.
