Warwick grad Younger scores 14 points in Old Dominion loss

Warwick High School graduate LaQuanda Younger scored 14 points in Old Dominion University's 83-72 loss to conference rival Hofstra University on Jan. 20, according to Old Dominion's website.

The freshman guard also recorded one rebound for the Monarchs, who are 12-5 on the season and 3-2 in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Old Dominion's next game is 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at home against Georgia State.

Younger is a 2012 graduate of Warwick High School. She earned all-state honors and was a two-time Peninsula Player of the Year during her high school career. She is a Newport News native.
