Visitors to the GasBuddy.com website reported rates at 29 gas stations in and around north Newport News. As of Jan. 19, the average price of regular unleaded gas in north Newport News was $3.23 per gallon. GasBuddy.com listed the state average at $3.26 and the nationwide average at $3.27.

The least expensive gas in north Newport News was reported to be $3.13 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which GasBuddy.com contributors logged at Sam's Club, 12407 Jefferson Ave.
