Kids Day at the Virginia War Museum scheduled for Jan. 21

Kids Day at the Virginia War Museum will be held Monday, Jan. 21.

Kids Day will be held Monday, Jan. 21 at the Virginia War Museum in Newport News.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to a press release, "Children will enjoy this day of fun and learning. This event will feature displays by select groups of kid-friendly living historians who will allow children to see and interact with military uniforms and equipment. War games will run throughout the day including the famous aviation game Wings of War, a Winter War 1939 game and a naval game. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 18 or older."

Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for children.

Virginia War Museum is located at 9285 Warwick Blvd., Newport News.
