Birds of Fall photo exhibit to open at Virginia Living Museum

Images from the Birds of Fall photos contest will be on display from Saturday, Jan. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 3 at the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News, it was recently announced.

According to a press release from the Virginia Living Museum, "the photo contest winners are the photo of a screech owl by Robert Schamerhorn, of Richmond, for Best in Show; the photo of an osprey catching a fish by Jerry Hughes, of Newport News, first place professional; and the goose landing in the marsh by Rob Sabatini of Mechanicsville, first place amateur. The exhibit also includes photos by Don Boyd, of Hampton; Chuck Dufor, of Rockville, Md.;, Jim Hansen, of Hampton; Jerry Hughes, of Newport News; Shelly Kelly, of Hampton; Nicolas Kotula, of Richmond; Jaclyn Lindsay, of Norfolk; Jesse Nelson, of Williamsburg; and Charles Sallette, Henrico and John Siderius, of Hampton."

Tickets, which are in addition to the museum's regular entrance fee, are $17 for adults and $13 for children ages 3 to 12.

The Virginia Living Museum is at 524 J. Clyde Morris Blvd.
